WOW Furthur in Radio City Wednesday, February 24, 2010
The rain was much less today and I headed into Manhattan again to see day 2 of music. After finishing up dinner, we journeyed over to Radio City Music Hall and entered quickly. It was mobbed, seeming like way more people than the day before, but I guess everyone wised up that the show was starting pretty close to on time. The band opened up with a great "Truckin'," and the night continued to be strong and energetic and very entertaining. The energy of the night was as good, if not better, than the night before. They ended the first set with an energizing "Touch of Grey." They burst out in the second set with "Uncle John's Band" and then played a great "Fire on the Mountain" and the rest of the set was amazing. They closed with a beautiful "Morning Dew" into "Playin' in the Band." Can't wait to get to AC Saturday night. Set-list Below.
Have a Greatful Day.
I: Jam > Truckin, Dire Wolf, Mama Tried, Althea, Brown-Eyed Women, Till the Morning Comes, The Music Never Stopped > Touch of Grey
II: Uncle John's Band > Scarlet Begonias > Fire on the Mountain > Bird Song > St. Stephen > Born Cross-Eyed > Eyes of the World > Morning Dew > Playin in the Band (reprise)
E: Brokedown Palace
