Klyph Black and Rumor Has It: Coming to You Live from a Snowstorm Near You.

This one starts off slow but picks up quickly. Left the house and headed for the borrowed car and dug it out. It has been snowing all day long and the winter storm watch was in full effect, but "the music never stops," so I headed to the BQE. The road is pot-hole ridden and the drivers were taking advantage of the snow to make their own lanes independent of the other cars, but I drove on. It took me almost 2 hours to get 21 miles.
When I arrived the band (Klyph Black-Guitar/Vocals, Al Buonanno-Bass, Tom Circosta-Guitar/Vocals, Dave Diamond-Drums /vocals, Arno Hecht-Sax, John Sparrow-Guitar /Vocals) were setting up in the venue and the room was pretty empty since most Americans are afraid of a little snow these days. (To all the snow-phobic live music lovers: you missed a fun one!) In spite of that, the band was incredibly professional and played for the few folks who were in the bar. When music started and I got almost 2 full songs of a private show before the room started to fill up with more loyal music lovers. The band was as tight as can be and played a great set for those of us who ventured out in the snow for this treat. These guys actually get it, and leave you with a warm feeling and a smile. Seeing them up close, just like a rehearsal, where they were light-hearted and joking with each other on the stage, made the night light and fun as the snow fell outside and we all knew we would have to head home in it. I wished they could have played for another few hours so there would have been another plowing and less cars out on the road for the travel home, but you know how it goes. Till the next time they play near me.
One long set through the snow—the songs are in snow drift order (random) not the order that they were actually played: I'm Tired, Don't Pass Me By, Hoo Doo, No one said it'd be easy, Drownin, Yes I'm Fallin', Nadine, Grits Ain't Groceries, I Made Up My Mind, Red Rose, The Booty song, Eyesight to the the blind, Reno, Down the Road, Rollin' Pete, Now That We Are Through, Wild Eddie.
