    Client's Challenge
Better Indeed's principal had an original concept for an innovative family board game, but had no experience developing consumer products or starting a new business.
    Solution
Box of Rain helped build the core design team, established contacts with manufacturers and distributors, solicited competitive bids, established contacts with website designers and developers, conducted market focus groups, and helped source distributors. With Box of Rain's assistance, the client produced and marketed the Family Matters™ game. Family Matters™ has received several toy industry awards and is now available at a major national retail chain as well as Amazon.com.
  • Client's Challenge
A small, family-owned, specialty wholesaler needed to keep up with rapid changes in the once close-knit and traditional garment industry.
    Solution
Leonard Shostak installed office technology, implemented a new, computerized inventory database and billing system (billing was formerly manual), recruited temporary office help to organize and enter a large amount of product data, and trained the office manager and staff to use the new system. With computerization, the owner was able to monitor customer accounts and identify the most profitable. The company was able to thrive and remain competitive in a rapidly-changing industry past the retirement of the owner.
